RULES FOR USE OF THE MOP FOUNDATION EXHIBITION SPACE
To ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors and to preserve the integrity of the artworks on display, the exhibition space establishes the following rules, which must be observed by all visitors:
1. General Prohibitions
- The consumption of food and beverages, as well as smoking, is strictly prohibited within the exhibition rooms.
- Touching photographs or any other displayed elements is not permitted, as it may compromise their preservation.
- Running in the corridors or exhibition rooms is forbidden, as it may cause accidents or disturb other visitors.
- Entry with large bags, backpacks, or bulky items is not allowed. These must be deposited in designated lockers, if available.
- Sharp objects or any items that may pose a risk to the artworks or to other visitors are strictly prohibited.
- Taking photographs using flash or tripods, as well as the use of laser pointers within the exhibition rooms, is not permitted as it may damage the artworks and disrupt the experience of other visitors.
2. Conduct Within the Premises
- Visitors remain within the facilities, including exhibition rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces, at their own risk. The MOP FOUNDATION accepts no liability for accidents, injuries, or damages sustained during the visit, except those directly attributable to gross negligence on the part of the organization responsible for the MOP FOUNDATION.
- Minors must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Said adult is solely responsible for the safety and behavior of the minors, ensuring they comply with the rules and do not pose a risk to themselves, the artworks, or the experience of other visitors.
- All visitors are encouraged to follow signage, specific rules, and the instructions provided by on-site personnel.
- The MOP FOUNDATION will not be held liable for any material or personal damages resulting from the failure to comply with these rules by the visitor or the minors in their care.
3. Intellectual and Industrial Property. Rules on Photography and Audiovisual Material
- All texts, photographs, designs, displayed items, and other audiovisual or sound content within the exhibition space are the exclusive property of the MOP FOUNDATION or third parties. No rights of use under current intellectual or industrial property law shall be deemed transferred to visitors. Visitors agree not to infringe any such rights.
- Likewise, all trademarks, trade names, or distinctive signs are the property of the MOP FOUNDATION or third parties and are protected under applicable intellectual and/or industrial property laws. Any reference to names, registered or unregistered trademarks, logos, or other identifiers, whether owned by the MOP FOUNDATION or third parties, implies a prohibition on their use without the prior consent of the MOP FOUNDATION or the respective rights holders.
- Visitors may take photographs and record audiovisual material in both indoor and outdoor areas of the venue, provided it is for strictly personal and non-commercial use.
- Any other use of images or audiovisual material captured, including but not limited to commercial, promotional, editorial, or public dissemination purposes, requires the prior, express, and written authorization of the MOP FOUNDATION and, where applicable, of the third-party rights holders of the displayed works. In any case, the use of images containing elements protected by intellectual or industrial property rights—such as artworks, logos, or exclusive designs—will require prior approval from the respective rights holders.
- In the absence of such authorizations, the MOP FOUNDATION assumes no responsibility for the captured materials or their use. Such responsibility lies solely and exclusively with the visitor who generated them.
- The MOP FOUNDATION is also not responsible for any data protection violations committed by visitors while photographing and/or recording audiovisual material.
- The visitor is fully and solely responsible for any use of photographs or audiovisual material captured on the premises, both indoors and outdoors.
- In the event of claims, lawsuits, or legal actions by third parties regarding the misuse of captured material, the visitor agrees to hold the MOP FOUNDATION harmless from any liability, costs, or damages arising from such violations.
- Notwithstanding the above, the MOP FOUNDATION reserves the right to prohibit image or audiovisual capture in specific areas of its exhibitions.
4. Non-compliance
Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in the immediate removal of the visitor from the premises. In severe cases, such as damage to artworks or acts of vandalism, the MOP FOUNDATION reserves the right to take legal action against those responsible for any harm or damage caused.
