SCENIC GAZE: INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP TO PHOTOGRAPHIC VISION
February 28, Saturday, from 10:00 to 14:00 h and from 15:30 to 19:30 h
Photography is an artistic expression closely related to painting and cinema. This workshop will explore how these three artistic disciplines intersect with each other.

Workshop program
Morning session (from 10:00 to 14:00 h, with a coffee break from 11:30 to 12:00 h)
History of Photography
—From Leonardo da Vinci to today.
—The importance of photography in today's society.
—Important figures in the history of photography.
Basic Camera Components
—The camera body, lens, shutter, diaphragm, sensor or film, and other components.
The camera
—Functions and types of cameras.
—Lenses, shooting modes, and focus.
Photography basics
—Light measurement and exposure triangle.
—Depth of field, white balance, and sharpness.
Afternoon session from 15:30 to 19:30 h
—Viewing and analysis of photographs, paintings, and cinematography.
—Feature film recommendations.
On Sunday, March 1, there will be a voluntary photography tour around the MOP Foundation to put into practice everything learned the previous day. That same afternoon, the photographs of all participants will be projected to share their work and experience during the workshop.
