Peter Lindbergh: Untold Stories
The exhibition Peter Lindbergh: Untold Stories, curated by Peter Lindbergh himself shortly before his untimely death in 2019, traced four decades of his extensive career.
Lindbergh, who spent two years making this selection of images, is an artist who left an indelible mark on both fashion and photography. Featuring more than 160 photographs taken between the early 1980s and 2019, the exhibition offered new and unexpected perspectives on the work of this legendary photographer.
Peter Lindbergh
Peter Lindbergh (Leszno, 1944 – Paris, 2019) was one of the first photographers to introduce narrative into his fashion editorials. His way of telling stories through photography, his particular realism and honesty in his work transformed fashion photography. Untold Stories, the exhibition he curated shortly before his death, stands as his manifesto and final creative statement.
