Steven Meisel 1993 A Year in Photographs presented the work of this master photographer during 1993, a pivotal year in his career, defined by his close collaboration with Vogue, when he shot 28 covers and over 100 editorials for the magazine.
Steven Meisel is regarded as one of the most influential and prolific fashion photographers of his generation, and a driving force behind the careers of many iconic models of the 1990s. The exhibition featured portraits of men and women from the worlds of fashion and film, including Linda Evangelista, Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell, Hamish Bowles, Kyle MacLachlan, Claudia Schiffer, Jaye Davidson, Barbra Streisand, Marlon Richards, Isabella Blow, Amanda Harlech, and Twiggy.
