Milena Busquets was born in Barcelona in 1972. She attended the Lycée Français and University College London. In ‘Anagrama’ she has published the novels ‘This too shall pass’ a resounding sales and critical success published in over thirty countries in reputable publishing houses: «Brilliant, lucid, moving, naked and painful memory of goodbye» (Juan Marsé); «A novel in which, as in good literature, nothing sounds like literature, everything sounds truth» (Javier Cercas); «A wonderful book» (Carme Riera); «A walk through love and death, a book about desire» (Gustavo Martín Garzo); «A special and unrepeatable book... It hypnotizes you from the beginning» (Carlos Zanón, El País); «Evocative prose and skin-deep sensitivity... A truly meritorious literary work that aspires not only to pass, but to stay» (Antonio Lozano, La Vanguardia); and ‘Gema’: «A novel about the desire to live and the small joys of the everyday that move away from nostalgia» (El Cultural); «You enjoy reading these pages, experiencing an overwhelming empathy in some passages » (Patricia Godino, Diario de Sevilla), as well as the journalistic texts’ collection ‘Hombres elegantes y otros artículos’: «Delicious» (Alberto Olmos); «These suggestive texts formulate a personal aesthetic journey... Witty amenity and critical acuity» (Jesús Ferrer, La Razón), and the diary ‘The right words’: «An exercise in style and a waste of humour. The result of a look that has sharpened half a century, the search for precision» (Bruno Pardo, ABC). She has just published a new book entitled ‘Ensayo general’.
